LiteTouch™ Er:YAG has two optional handpieces. The Angled Handpiece, LiteTouch™ standard handpiece, is used for all dental treatments and specialties. The Straight Handpiece, is ideal for treating the frontal teeth and surgery of bone in the frontal area of the mouth.
LiteTouch™ is equipped with a variety of Tips in different diameters and lengths. Each soft and hard tissue treatment requires a different protocol using different types of tips, for both contact and non-contact modes.
Please note: Our tips are “Color Coded” for faster and easier identification, e.g.:
0.8 diameter tips are Red (w/Red O-rings).
1.0 diameter tips are Blue (w/blue O-rings).

Description: Sapphire cylindrical tip, including steel bands reinforcement in gaps of 1 mm depth indicators.
Applications: Bone procedures where precise depth measurement is required.
Especially suitable for: Full-laser bone preparation for mini-implants (3-4 mm length), partial bone preparation for implants (Initial preparation in cortical bone), different uses in Implants site preparation, implant site disinfection before implant insertion, disinfection of surgical site after tooth extraction

Side-Firing tip
Description: Sapphire tip, designed to deliver the energy perpendicular to the tip’s axis, easing the work in locations that require side access.
A direction marker on the side of the tip indicates the direction of the emitted laser energy, as shown in the illustration.
Applications: Implant & surrounding bone disinfection, Apex cutting during apicetomy
Especially suitable for: Implant surface decontamination inside periodontal pocket , and Apex amputation in apicoectomy procedures.
