LiteTouch™ is successful in the management of severe periodontal disease and bone infection.

Dr. Kai-Seng Tan in his article (2023) used his LiteTouch™ not only to perform the incision and to remove calculus but also to eliminate periodontopathic bacteria within the periodontal pocket and for intrabony socket debridement. The LiteTouch™ combined with the A-PRF+ accelerated the tissue regeneration, bone formation and there were no recurrent infections.

Due to the wide variety of the LiteTouch™ clinical indications, the Er:YAG laser allows the dentist to perform effectively non-surgical and surgical treatments for periodontal disease.
